Summary 10-14 April

No real change from last week, as I've only made three train trips this week - 61% on time, 23% a little late and 16% very late or cancelled.

Thu 13 April - Same again...

Having got home from Perth well after midnight again (Qantas and Connex must be run by the same management) I'm having a late start this morning. And so is the 09:37!

It really is looking like the off-peak trains are just as tardy as the peak trains. And that does suggest that Connex' stats need to be independently audited and the results made public.

We're in danger of scoring an orange this morning, but a three minute wait at Richmond ensures we're sufficiently late to score a red!

Home on the 18:01 and it's pretty much on time.

In Perth for the next two days... no Connex for me!

Mon 10 April - Off-peak no better...?

I'm heading over to Perth again this evening so I do the kinder/school run first. Just get there in tme for the 08:49 and it's a couple of minutes late so I needn't have hurried.

A slow crawl and a wait through the yards and we pull up about four minutes late. This adds weight to my suspicion that it doesn't matter what time of day I travel, the trains are no better than in the busy times.

This week's performance percentages are the same as last week, 61% on time, 23% a little late and 16% very late or cancelled. And we've been there are thereabouts for the last twelve months. Must be a lot of people holding the doors...!
