Summary 25-29 April

Here's the summary of our fourth week, looking good!

The stats so far show 60% of trains I've gone for getting a green status, 10% orange and 30% red, barely changed from where we were at the end of week two.

N/AN/AN/AN/A09:11
N/AN/AN/AN/A17:38

I've given them a green if the train that I wanted to catch departs within two minutes of the scheduled time and I've given them an orange if they are "on time" according to Connex - seem fair?

Fri 29 April - Well done Connex...

Having got back from Perth well after midnight there was no chance I'd make the 07:14 so I go for the 09:12. And it arrives pretty much on time.

Coming home at 17:38 the same story, no more than a minute late. So, who'd have thought it? We've ended the week with Connex delivering 100% of the trains I've gone for. It was only one day, but why quibble over trivialities?

Thu 28 April - Perth...

Back home tonight. As I might have predicted, it looks like not many trains have been cancelled during these last three days, since there have been very few SMS alerts. Connex have been saving them up for me while I've been away!

Wed 27 April - Perth...

Still here, still not dependent on Connex, still happy about that!

Tue 26 April - Perth...

Some respite from the Connex daily grind as I'll be in Perth for the next three days. I'm sure it'll be much the same for long-suffering Sandy line users and somehow I doubt it'll all be fixed by Friday!

Mon 25 April - Anzac Day...

The focus for Aussies is elsewhere today - 90 years since the Gallipoli landings. Can't really say anything that hasn't been said better by others.
