Tue 6 June - Beast's Day...
OK, it's not been too bad lately, but that's probably putting the moz on it. Not sure I've been on it that much in recent weeks, so how would I know?!
We're three minutes late this morning.
Home on the 17:49 - as is often the case the departure time rolls on past with no sign of the train and no word from the ever friendly platform announcer. It shows up soon after and we wait a fair while before we depart. We pull in to Ripponlea six minutes late.

Actually Frankston Line isn't as bad as Sandringham as i take it?
Perhaps you could consider taking a Frankston train to Bentleigh then bussing it to Middle Brighton area (and North Brighton)
Not, you'll end p needing a Zone 2 ticket for the 703. I'd it's not as direct, and cost effective...
Perhaps a second option if Sandringham Line refuses to budge...
OH,
How they keep keep mangaing to do 'it' over and over again:
Simple, take one Andrew Cassidy and instate in a CEO position, and a government ignorant to the problems or Melbourne soon decaying transport system, and voila, delay after delay...
Leave for 2 - 3 years repeat with new government
Not sure I understand your last comment there Chris. You do know that the Connex CEO is Bruce Hughes?
Whoops.
Andrew Cassidy rang a bell at the time? Or I think I hear him more on the media..
Hmm, interesting. Im not forcing you...
There's always cycling, but i find that difficult with a briefcase :S
