Wed 17 May - Let me out...!

The 07:14 pulls in just a minute or so late at Ripponlea so we get to Flinders Street more or less on time. Then we wait for what seems like ages (but is really only about a minute) before the doors are released. I'm tempted to force them, but I know that would somehow cause a huge ripple effect and delay trains everywhere, so I don't!

Home early - the 16:48 as I'm picking up my daughter from school. This is the life, much quieter than the trains an hour or so later. And we pull in bang on time.

That's caused by the "time-space ripple effect". When forcing the doors open in this dimension, the gravitational waves will distrub the quantum continium in this dimension and increase resistance in the time-space relativity. This forces a slow down in time (since ligth is still traveling with the same speed) which will lead to lost time on relative train velocity in this dimension.

;)

One minute. I hope you had some supplies and it wasn't too dark.

What did you do when you needed to go to the toilet?

Come on!!

Sigh, no comment for the time being, or we'll see another huge ripple effect here.

Half a dozen trips today:

---
7:19am City Loop train FROM Bentleigh, arrived ON TIME, although practically no seats, again intrigued to see how one person like to stop 3 - 4 people being able to stand within the further 'innards' of the train.

Arrived: ON TIME @ Richmond

---
Change to 7:25am Belgrave FROM Richmond. 1 minutes late due to a Glen Waverley train infront.

ARRIVED: ON TIME @ Box Hill

---
8:19am 109 Tram, Departed ON TIME

---
[Exam]
---
11:25am City Loop FROM Box Hill.
1 minute late.

ARRIVED: 1 minutes late @ FSS

---
12:38pm Frankston FROM FSS, departed 1 minute late @ FSS

ARRIVED: ON TIME @ Bentleigh

---
1:31pm Sandringham FROM Middle Brighton, ON TIME

(I barely missed the train; In this case it would have been good if it was slightly late, then I wouldn't of had to ride my bike all the way to Hampton) at least I got some exercise.

---
[temporarily lost in Hampton/Sandringham]
[athletics]
---
2:05pm City Loop from Hampton
ON TIME

Arrived ON TIME @ Middle Brighton

---
So I have witnessed 6 services.

I waited 3 minutes longer in excess.
I arrived 1 minute late in excess.

I think I can live with that.

---
And MR Whinger, with all minutes counted up on how late I was, it still counts as "green."

---
Perhaps I might blame:

15 seconds of my time on the administration at Connex;

15 seconds on misguided Mr Peter Bachelor somehow making my train late;

15 seconds on how Steve Bracks didn't put enough investment into the network;

and another 15 seconds Andrew Cassidy using his forces to make me wait just that little bit longer.

All for wasting (in total) 1 minutes of my life

Ummm anon, did you stop and think before commenting...? "Then we wait for what seems like ages (but is really only about a minute) before the doors are released." I already acknowledged that it was only a short space of time although it seemed longer. And it is odd to be stopped at the station all looking around wondering why the doors aren't opening! Don't like my comments, don't read 'em...!

Chris - bully for you. I'm posting the times, if you'd care to challenge any of them, you go right ahead. So yours were all on time? So what?!

I just posted times too! I could reply identically: "So your train was late, bully for you"

Clap, clap.

Im not challenging them, hust proving a point that Connex isn't always late.

Anon's got a point though... :)

Chris, I am just guessing here, but did you "kinda" use your watch or couldn't you be bothered either and assumed there were on time?

Chris, I cannot recall that Phil ever said that Connex is always late. His statistics even prove that Connex is most of time on time. The problem here is that most of the time is not good enough and that the service level is below expectation.

steve, i can guarantee those trains i did take were correctly recorded.

See, with steve, a PURE example that if Connex isn't late, it can't be right...

Perhaps, one day, ill invite you to one of my railway trips, see if the trains are always late. I'd like to see what happens.

anonymous, I just admitted a error, if not there are others that i may of missed, geez, not this again.

Plus, i walk.

Mr WHinger, again, either some false 'Met' maintains his appeal for attention; or you have mistaken me.

You can contact me personally if you find a serious problem with something produced under my alias.

Unless you can send me the quote of what I said and let me review if it was indeed truly incorrect, Mr Whinger you have limited obligation to blame me for much under pretence.
